Grandparents Get Involved

San Antonio Academy understands the important role grandparents play in the lives of their grandsons and encourage you to take part in The Academy experience.

Grandparents' Chapel

Grandparents are invited to see how their grandson begins his school day during Grandparents’ Chapel at 8:00 a.m. Refreshments will be served.

Primary School

Primary (PK, K, 1st, 2nd)

Upper School

Upper School (3rd - 8th):

Grandparents' Day

SAA grandparents are treated to a special day in November, starting a grandparents' luncheon. The day continues with events on campus, including a choral performance, a Pass-In-Review, campus tours provided by grandsons and the chance to meet their teachers.

Grandparents’ Lunches

Grandparents are welcomed to join their grandson's designated class lunch for fellowship and to build community with the other grandparents in their grandson's class.

Please arrive 10 minutes before lunch time to check-in.

Reservations are required.

Mystery Readers

Grandparents of students Kinder-2nd Grade are invited to read to students grade Kinder to 2nd Grade class-- but it's a secret until the Mystery Reader shows up to read! The mystery reader will provide three clues for the class to guess who is reading before they make their grand entrance.
