Giving to the Annual Fund: Alumni
Alumni participation is an important part of the Annual Fund campaign. Former students and graduates of SAA are encouraged to support their alma mater with a gift that will impact today's students.
There are over 1,200 alumni. Imagine the impact if every alumni gave toward the Annual Fund. The key is to participate and help this generation of students have the resources that enable SAA to carry out its mission at the highest level. Every dollar, every person, makes a difference.
Annual gifts enable The Academy to attract and retain outstanding teacher and keep the school small so that each boy is known, understood, and valued.
School spirit is demonstrated in many ways. For me, an important way to show my school spirit is through my annual donation to San Antonio Academy. As a Class Agent, when I ask my classmates for support, they respond with enthusiasm, and so it's really the great Class of 2003 that deserves the kudos. All I did was ask." - Jamey Steen, 2003 Class Agent
"I support The Academy because I know that the only way to ensure that it retains the small class size, exceptional teachers and athletic opportunities is through continued financial support of the school by supporting the Annual Fund. Without financial support The Academy will be forced to grow with the understanding that the individual attention - with which I thrived - would be lost. As a student, I was known, understood and valued at a crucial time in my intellectual and academic development. We cannot let that change. As alumni, we are a part of an incredibly rich history of leadership and tradition that we all must work to continue both today and into the future. - Brian C. Steward, Class of 1979
"When we support the Annual Fund, we are giving back to the place that helped enrich our lives and become the men we are today." - Javier Rocha, Class of 1991
