The Alumni Association of San Antonio Academy of Texas is pleased to announce that the Texas Cavaliers will be honored with the 40th Col. W. T. Bondurant, Sr. Humanitarian Award at a special luncheon on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at 11:30 a.m. at The Witte Museum, Mays Family Center. Proceeds from the event benefit the Col. W. T. Bondurant, Jr. Scholarship Fund. This need-based scholarship helps to fund the education of deserving young men who will flourish in The Academy’s academic program.
The Col. W.T. Bondurant, Sr. Distinguished Humanitarian Award is presented to a leader who exemplifies the school’s most cherished values: honesty, respect, pride in achievement and service to others, and whose accomplishments embody the humanitarian traits that everyone admired in Colonel W. T. Bondurant Sr., The Academy’s Head of School from 1927 to 1943.
The Alumni Association of San Antonio Academy is honored to recognize the Texas Cavaliers as a group of dedicated humanitarians who exemplify the values and actions that San Antonio Academy seeks to instill in each boy. The Texas Cavaliers are near and dear to SAA, as generations of Academy fathers, grandfathers, and alumni have served on this historic charitable organization.
