Primary School Language Arts emphasizes skills in reading, writing, listening, and speaking. Reading and writing instruction uses the Orton-Gillingham phonics approach. The ultimate goal is to develop independent readers with excellent comprehension and communication skills. Writing instruction includes phonics, mechanics, composition, handwriting, listening, speaking, and spelling while discovering the power and excitement of communicating through the written word. 

The Primary School mathematics curriculum is built around the core principle that students need to know more than just what works when solving a problem– they need to understand why it works. Teachers and students work together building fluency in math facts and a conceptual understanding of mathematics. Students begin with concrete representations of mathematical computations and move to abstract concepts that utilize real world projects to create purpose in learning and develop a deep level of understanding.

The Primary School Science curriculum provides the boys with hands-on experiences where they conduct introductory level research following the scientific method to learn about the core concepts of life, earth, physical, and technology sciences. 

The Primary School Foreign Language curriculum focuses on learning about both Hispanic culture and the Spanish language by providing challenging and engaging opportunities to develop skills and opportunities to use Spanish in their daily lives. Boys have a positive and fun experience learning a foreign language which builds self-confidence in speaking and an appreciation for world cultures.

The Primary School Social Studies curriculum builds an appreciation for their role in the community; beginning on a microlevel of their family to a more grand global perspective. Boys use inquiry-based instruction to understand the foundational skills of social studies including: geography, history, sociology, anthropology, and famous personalities.
