The Academy Fund

The Academy Fund provides the means to recruit and retain an outstanding faculty, provide cutting-edge professional development, to offer exceptional academic and athletic opportunities for our boys, to underwrite financial assistance, and acquire new equipment.

Funding an excellent program intentionally crafted for boys is a proposition that requires significant resources, beyond what tuition dollars and endowment earnings can support. Philanthropy has for many years been a key part of the funding mix for The Academy, along with other revenue sources. Every year, The Academy asks its community to support faculty and students through philanthropy to further our mission.

The difference is around $7,500 per student and is met in part by endowment income and other revenue sources. Approximately $2,100 per student is supported through The Academy’s annual giving program.

Yes. Every gift matters! No gift is too small. In tough economic times, your support is more important than ever. Each gift to The Academy Fund helps keep our school strong.

The school community, made up of parents, alumni, grandparents, former parents, and friends, has been incredibly generous in its support for the school for many years. This year, we are asking our community to be even more generous. The Board of Trustees has worked hard to put the school on sound financial footing, and part of their plan requires increased philanthropic support. This year, we ask every person who values The Academy's mission to give as generously as possible to make a difference for our boys and for the school's future.

SAA's overall giving goal for 2022-2023 is $624,000. The parent goal is $317,000.

The campaign runs during The Academy’s fiscal year:  June 1, 2022 - May 31, 2023. The Parent's campaign will run September 1, 2022 - September 30, 2022.
