School Supply Drive

The Academy participates in an end-of-year school supply drive to assist the students and teachers at the Pre-Kindergarten through 12th grade school at the Battered Women and Children’s Shelter.

Annual Food Drive

SAA boys bring canned goods and non-perishable food items to donate to the San Antonio Food Bank.

Holiday Service Projects

During the holiday season, each grade supports a specific service project. From bringing in pet supply donations, to visiting senior living communities, to decorating holiday cards for soldiers, each project helps teach our students the importance of volunteerism and selflessness.

Campus-Wide Recycling Program

In an effort to pitch in and do our part to help the environment, SAA is making a campus-wide push to recycle the paper produced in classrooms, workrooms, and administrative offices. Big thanks to faculty member, Cathy Baumgardner, who spearheads this essential effort.

Community Service Metal

SAA is awards a medal to Elementary and Middle School students who perform 24 hours or more of community service outside of school. Once a student's community service totals 24 hours, he is awarded the medal, which may be added to his uniform medal collection.
