Summer Reading
Encouraging reading during the school year and throughout the summer months is one of the most important things we can do to help our boys succeed.
We know it can be challenging to find the right books to keep your son interested, so the SAA Reading Department is excited to share our Summer Reading Lists.
Summer reading is a requirement for our Elementary and Middle School boys. However, summer reading incentives (to include medals or ribbons) are in place for all boys Pre-K through 8th grade.
Our “Wildcat Summer Reading Program” launch date is May 25. Visit your son’s grade level list for the requirements. Challenge your son to read every day. The more our students read, the better readers they become.
We strongly suggest you set up a summer reading plan to ensure your son completes his reading log and any other requirements by the first day of school (August 13, 2024).
We hope you and your family read many stories this summer and reap all of the wonderful benefits of reading.
Please contact SAA's Librarian, Elizabeth Snow, if you have any questions.
