SAA alumnus Warren Wilkinson, Class of 1963, joined us as our Alumni Monday speaker during Chapel on March 27, 2023. Warren spoke to the boys about his memories at The Academy and even brought his old uniform and letterman sweater from when he attended.

During his Chapel talk, Warren gave many examples of fond memories of his time at SAA, including his favorite subject, traditions,  friends, sports, faculty, staff, etc. All these things were what he recalled to make our school so special.

However, one of the things that makes SAA the most special to him is that his grandson, Traylor Azar, Class of 2019, was able to continue the legacy as an SAA Wildcat. This meant a lot to Warren, especially after his grandson passed away a few years after graduating from The Academy. Warren's grandson, Traylor Azar's SAA football jersey, is now retired and displayed outside of the gym.
