Clark Cadwallader - Class of 2003 (Alumni Monday Speaker)

It was a pleasure to welcome SAA alumnus Clark Cadwallader, Class of 2003, as our Alumni Monday speaker on September 30, 2024. During his presentation, he spoke to the boys about his fond memories at The Academy and why this school will always be special to him and his family.

Clark Cadwallader Alumni Monday

Randy '72, Clark '03, and Max Cadwallader '32

Clark is an Academy "lifer" who, along with his older brother Randy '98, attended for all 10 years (Pre-K through 8th grade). After graduating from SAA in 2003, he attended Alamo Heights High School and then went on to attend Texas A&M, where he received a degree in Agricultural Economics. Clark is the co-founder and COO of New Day Recovery Services, an outpatient treatment center that helps individuals battling addiction to get sober by incorporating experimental trips in the outdoors.

During his speech, Clark mentioned multiple reasons why The Academy is so uniquely special to him. One of those reasons included familial ties, as his family has been attending SAA for four generations. His grandfather, A.H. Cadwallader III, was an Academy graduate in 1942, followed by his father, Randy, '72, then his older brother and himself, and now his son Max, '32. Clark expressed his appreciation for the opportunity to not only attend SAA as a boy but also to send his son to the same school where he would get the same quality education and experiences.

About Alumni Mondays: Each Monday, we welcome an Academy alumnus to speak to SAA boys during chapel. During this presentation, our alumni speakers share meaningful stories and lessons from their days at SAA. View Alumni Monday Showcase
