It was an honor to have SAA alumnus, Chris Galvan '90, join us as our speaker for Alumni Monday on October 16, 2023. Chris put together a wonderful video to show the boys that summed up his time here at The Academy and shared all his fond memories through pictures and humorous storytelling. 

During his engaging video presentation, Chris reflected on everything he loved about SAA. He noted that although there was a lot to love during his time as an Academy Cadet, more than anything, he loved the people he was surrounded with every day. From his SAA brothers to his teachers, like current SAA faculty members Coach Matt Veldt and Mr. Barry Bradley, each played an important role in his life.

After his video, Chris brought his son, 2nd grader Sam, up to the podium to help him conclude his presentation.

He then ended by encouraging the boys to remember that even though their future goals and aspirations may change, the kind of person they are or become is more important than their titles or positions.
