SAA alumnus, Tucker Biedenharn '04 joined us as our Alumni Monday speaker on April 18.

He says the no. 1 thing he learned from The Academy and that he takes with him everywhere is the school motto: Be honest. Be kind. Be the best you can be.

“In life you are given more and more responsibilities, so if you always focus on being honest, being kind, and being the best you can be, and just being really good with that, then that’ll take you really far.”

After The Academy, Tucker went on to graduate from TMI Episcopal and Texas A&M University where he played division 1 lacrosse. He credits The Academy with teaching him the time management skills needed to successfully juggle college classes with division 1 sports. Today, Tucker is the Associate Relationship Manager at Frost Bank.

We are so grateful for Tucker sharing his Academy story with us today. At the close of our program, Coach Heineman and Coach Veldt presented him with the winning game ball from the SAA vs. Saint Mary’s Hall game in 2003.
