On October 24, 2022, we were joined by SAA alumnus, Pete Thompson, class of 1959, as our speaker for Alumni Monday. Pete talked to our boys about what it was like during his time at The Academy but reminded us that although there are some differences between then and now, The Academy has and always will stay true to its values. 

Pete also used his time to encourage the boys that they have the ability to be anything they want to be and that many of his classmates continued on in their education to become doctors, lawyers, veterinarians, and even members of the CIA.

He also reminded the boys that the kind of person they want to be matters much more and that these are the years in their life that will put them on the trajectory for success. 

"The further I go on in my life and my career, the clearer it seems to me that the early lessons I learned at SAA are what made the huge differences in my life," said Pete.
