We were joined by SAA alumnus, David Patton '11, for Alumni Monday on September 12, 2022. He spoke to the boys about some of his experiences while at The Academy and how his time spent here molded him into becoming the musician, and overall person, he is today.

David is a musician and has had the opportunity to play at several notable music festivals in the U.S. and tour the east coast. Along with being a musician, he is also an instructor at The School of Rock San Antonio.

He credits his Academy teachers for showing him how to be a passionate and caring instructor himself. He notes that while he's teaching, he often recalls how kind and caring his teachers were and says he is able to use everything he was taught and learned here at SAA.
