Bobby Hasslocher, Class of 1967 (Alumni Monday Speaker)

For Alumni Monday, we were joined by Bobby Hasslocher '67, who brought out some items from his time at SAA. Propped up next to him was the uniform he wore back in 1962, which was not the SAA navy blue color we all know today but instead, was military green. Fun fact: The Academy didn't wear dress blues until 1963!

He talked about how SAA used to be located on North Flores during his time, and those who graduated from that campus are known as "The boys of North Flores." Bobby also spoke very highly of Couch Burke and how he, along with other SAA alumni, were able to establish the Coach Burke Cup Award that recognizes an Upper School student who has excelled in the school's athletic programs.

Thank you for joining us this Monday and sharing so many wonderful stories, Bobby!
