On Monday, January 9, 2023, we were joined by SAA alumnus, Anthony Fletcher, class of 2017, as our Alumni Monday speaker. Anthony spoke to the boys about his time here at The Academy and shared some of his experiences as a student. He also encouraged the boys to remember two things as they continue their journey: to always strive to be their best and to remember to take time to pay attention to the small details, as it will help the bigger details fall into place. 

Anthony is a graduate of SAA class of 2017. After graduating from The Academy, he went on to attend TMI and graduated in 2021. He is now a sophomore at Harvard University where he is studying applied math and economics.

During his time at SAA, he was involved in robotics, lacrosse, football, and choir. After recounting all his memories at The Academy, he told the boys about one of the quotes he remembers being told that has always stuck with him, even to this day.

"Your thoughts become your words, your words become your actions, your actions become your habits, your habits become your values, and your values become who you are."

He used this quote to encourage the boys to always pay attention to their outlook and how they view things because that will always determine the outcome of their life.
