2026 San Antonio Academy Alumni Association Young Alumnus Award

San Antonio Academy Alumni Association is pleased to honor and celebrate David Robinson, Jr. as the recipient of the 2026 Young Alumnus Award. The Young Alumnus Award was established by the SAA Alumni Association in 2022 to recognize alumni ages 35 and under who are rising stars and who excel in representing the four pillars of San Antonio Academy graduates - scholarship, leadership, integrity, and brotherhood. 

David Robinson, Jr. currently serves as Vice President at Admiral Capital Group, a strategic investment firm specializing in real estate and private equity opportunities. In this role, he contributes to identifying, developing, and managing investments that drive long-term value creation. Prior to joining Admiral Capital Group, David was a Development Manager at Weston Urban, where he played an integral role in advancing transformative real estate projects in downtown San Antonio, helping shape the city’s urban core.

Before his time at Weston Urban, David worked with Blueprint Local, an investment firm dedicated to fostering sustainable and inclusive economic growth through thoughtful real estate development. His work across these organizations reflects a consistent commitment to community-focused development and long-term urban impact.

A San Antonio native, David was born and raised in the city and remains deeply connected to its growth and future. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin and went on to receive a master’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Texas at San Antonio.

Outside of his professional endeavors, David is a dedicated family man. He and his wife, Ghazal, are proud parents to their two sons.
