Rudy Quinones II (SAA Class of 1967)

May 9, 1953 - July 30, 2018

Rudolph G. Quinones II, age 65, passed peacefully, moving onward and upward July 30, 2018.

He was born May 9, 1953 in San Antonio, Texas to the late Rudolph and Adelfa (Garza) Quinones; whom he missed dearly.

He attended St. Anthony grade school, San Antonio Academy; and graduated from Robert E. Lee High School. He also attended the University of Houston.

He was a business partner with his family owned 'Jacala Restaurant' in San Antonio. He loved to travel; he visited all over Europe, Russia and Hong Kong. He enjoyed taking Alaskan cruises and he also loved time at the beach with family and friends.
He is survived by his sisters, Yolanda Wright, Lucille (Harry) Hooker, Cynthia Lambert; nephews, James Cowger, Steven and Philip Rountree, Nile Wright IV, Leroy and Wesley Richter; nieces, Laura Gonzales, Karen Boswell, his restaurant family, and many close friends.

Family is receiving friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, August 1, 2018 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

Memorial services will be conducted Thursday, August 2, 2018 at 3:00 pm in the chapel at Sunset North Funeral Home. Internment services will be conducted at a later date at Holy Cross Cemetery.

Serving as Honorary Pallbearers are: Tommy Guy Cude, Otto Good, Steven Rountree, Philip Rountree, Nile Wright IV, Leroy Richter, Wesley Richter and Richard Galvan.
