Brian William Akright (SAA Class of 1998)
May 18, 1984 – April 4, 2023
Brian was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. Growing up he loved diving, football and his dogs Electra and Natalie. He went to school and worked in Dallas, Santa Monica, Marina Del Rey and Denver. He developed an interest in gemology and owned his own business appraising and buying gold and diamonds. He was a passionate fan of the San Antonio Spurs and the Oakland Raiders. He is survived by his parents Laura and Bruce and by his brothers Kevin and David. He will be missed by his family and those he met who found him to be a kind and generous person.
