During the summer of 2018, Mohan Iyengar '12, interned with the bear and tiger veterinarians for a month at the Wild Life Rescue Center in Bengaluru, Karnataka India. The Wild LIfe SOS center works towards rescuing and caring for poached animals. He also worked  with a rural veterinarian in Hassan, Karnataka, India, training in caring for cows and farm animals while he interned with the government employed vet. There is only one vet for 20 villages and the doctor make rounds every day to provide medical assistance to the arm animals. Mohan is a pre-vet major at Texas A&M and he will be applying to vet schools around the country in the summer of 2019.
