Jackson Covert '15 Receives Outstanding Editor Award from the Texas Journal of Oil, Gas, and Energy Law

Jackson Covert '15 received the Outstanding Editor award from the Texas Journal of Oil, Gas, and Energy Law at their annual banquet on February 6th. He and his brother Daniel are completing their second year at the University of Texas Law School in Austin. Jackson will be working in San Antonio at Norton Rose Fulbright again this summer and Daniel will work in Dallas for Vinson and Elkins. They will be studying at Vrije Universiteit School of Law in Amsterdam in the fall before returning to Austin in the spring to complete their legal studies. Both credit San Antonio Academy for giving them a strong academic foundation and are perennially grateful for Mr. Webster for always reinforcing the importance of honesty, kindness, and being the best they can be.
