Gardner Peavy '89 Named King Antonio CIII for Fiesta 2026

Congratulations to SAA alum Gardner Peavy '89 for being named King Antonio CIII for Fiesta 2026!

Gardner Marshall Peavy has been named King Antonio CIII and will lead the Texas Cavaliers during Fiesta 2026, marking the organization’s 100th anniversary. A member since 2008, Peavy has raised more than $2 million for children’s charities, including facilitating a $1.2 million grant to Haven for Hope, and has served in leadership roles such as Commander (2024-2025) and River Parade Marshal (2021-2022). Upon receiving the honor, Peavy stated, “Being named King Antonio CIII is an incredible honor, and I’m excited to celebrate this city that gives so much of itself to others.”
