SAA offers a limited number of need-based scholarship grants to those current and new students whose families apply for aid and demonstrate financial need. Current, new and prospective families who inquire about need-based grants are provided applications that require them to itemize, in detail, their financial circumstances. The scholarship applications are forwarded to an out-of state, independent service which analyzes how much tuition each family can pay. SAA's Scholarship Committee prioritizes scholarship applicants based on their overall school performance and awards grants in early May. The names and financial circumstances of all scholarship applicants and recipients are held in the strictest confidence.
