Wildcats Robotics Teams Shine at "No-Bot-Vember Robo Rumble" with Innovation and Teamwork

On Saturday, November 8, San Antonio Academy’s Wildcats Robotics teams showcased their innovation and skill at the "No-Bot-Vember Robo Rumble" robotics competition. Held on the SAA campus, the teams earned high marks and recognition among 25 participating teams.

The Wildcats A-Team "Tech-No-Logics," comprised of Alex L., Evan R., Reyansh R., and Jacob W., received the "Innovate Award," presented to a team that develops and documents a unique aspect of their design or gameplay strategy. The award highlights the team’s creativity, thorough documentation, and independent inquiry throughout their engineering process.

Meanwhile, the Wildcats B-Team "Speed4Life," featuring Ryan B., Knox C., Ethan O., and Jack T., advanced to the third round of the finals matches and finished 5th overall.

A special thank-you goes to SAA's alumni, teachers, and retired faculty members who volunteered as judges and scorekeepers: Drew Kennedy, Barry Bradley, Moye Mullins, Luke Bright '25, Holden Dewar '25, and Donny Duggan '16.

Upper School Field Day

The gathering took place on Monday, April 13, at The Argyle, where generations of Academy men assembled for an afternoon marked by fellowship, reflection, and enduring connection.

San Antonio Academy hosted its 4th Annual Alumni Lacrosse Game on Thursday, April 9, bringing together former Wildcats for an evening of spirited competition and connection. Alumni returned to campus, with about a dozen taking the field alongside members of the current 7th/8th-grade lacrosse team.
