The Wildcat golf teams closed out a standout season with impressive finishes in two championship tournaments, showcasing both team strength and individual talent.

At the ISAL Championship held at Olmos Basin, the Wildcats swept top honors in both the Birdie and Eagle divisions. Anish Muthuraman took home 1st place individually in the Eagle Division, and with J. Kraft, Trammell Williams, and Grayson Austin, the four boys placed 1st as a team. In the Birdie Division, Collins Weaver earned 2nd place individually, and with William Johnston, Hop Dorris, and Camp Browning, the four boys took the 1st place team title.

Meanwhile, the ISAL Par 3 Championship at San Pedro saw another strong performance from SAA golfers. The top four scores from Peter Selig, Alex Leal, Ford Allen, and Wyatt Minarcik earned the team 3rd place overall.

“They demonstrated great sportsmanship and continued to develop their skills and etiquette ‘The Academy Way,’” said Head Coach Howard Baer. “As their coach, I can’t be more proud of them—a great nucleus for the future of SAA golf.”

Over the course of three days, boys from every grade level worked to transform banana boxes into cheerful vessels for holiday dinners. Each box was wrapped, decorated, and included a handwritten Thanksgiving note. The small gesture will soon bring joy and nourishment to homes across San Antonio this holiday season. With Catholic Charities’ goal of preparing 500 boxes, Academy students made a significant contribution toward meeting that milestone. The project, held just a short walk from campus, offered boys a firsthand look at how small acts of service can make a big impact.
