Snow Brothers with Interviewers on Alumni Monday (4/6/26)

On Monday, San Antonio Academy welcomed the Snow brothers- Corby ’10, Caleb ’11, Henry ’13, and Wendell ’16- back to campus as Alumni Monday speakers. Sons of longtime SAA librarian Mrs. Snow and '77 graduate Corbin Snow, the four alumni returned to share their experiences and insights with current students.

Each brother reflected on how his time at The Academy helped shape his personal and professional journey. Corby, now a real estate agent in Fort Worth, emphasized the lasting impact of the school’s motto: Be honest. Be kind. Be the best you can be. He encouraged students to embrace honesty in their relationships, show kindness to others and themselves, and strive for continuous personal growth.

Caleb, a property tax attorney in Austin, spoke about the value of hard work and balance. Drawing on his preparation for the demanding Texas Water Safari, a 262-mile canoe race, he credited his teachers and coaches at SAA for instilling discipline and a strong work ethic. He encouraged students to make time for activities that challenge them and keep them connected to the outdoors.

Henry, who lives in Colorado and works in property management, shared how his love for the outdoors was nurtured during his years at The Academy. From team sports to outdoor adventures, he highlighted the importance of saying “yes” to new opportunities and stepping outside of one’s comfort zone, noting that these experiences can lead to lifelong passions.

Wendell, the youngest of the four, spoke about the importance of building meaningful connections. He shared his experience developing a friendship with a pen pal in Ukraine, offering students a powerful perspective on empathy and global awareness. He encouraged students to keep an open mind and take initiative in forming new relationships.

The Snow brothers concluded their visit by leading students in a spirited SAA cheer, celebrating school pride and tradition. Their message was clear: the values learned at San Antonio Academy extend far beyond the classroom and continue to guide them in all aspects of life.
