Sixth Graders Put Polished Manners on Display at Silo Luncheon

Posted December 18, 2025

San Antonio Academy's Texas Gentlemen elective wrapped up the fall semester with a special etiquette luncheon at Silo Alamo Heights. Students and their guests enjoyed a four-course dining experience as the boys put their skills into practice, showcasing everything they’ve learned this semester about manners, conversation, and confident presentation. It was a refined finish to a semester of growth and gentlemanly excellence!

Texas Gentleman Luncheon

About the Program: The Texas Gentlemen course is a required elective for Academy 6th-grade students, equipping them with essential life skills in manners, social graces, and dining etiquette. Through interactive lessons led by Graceful Etiquette, students build confidence, respect, and refined social behavior in various settings. The program incorporates hands-on learning experiences, often using small food items as teaching tools, to reinforce key etiquette concepts. Emphasizing politeness, dining etiquette, conversation skills, and gentlemanly conduct, the program culminates in a special family luncheon where students can apply what they have learned in a formal setting. This experience provides a valuable foundation in respect, confidence, and social refinement in a dynamic and interactive environment.
