John Luke Mannix, Class of 2012 (Alumni Monday Speaker)

We were pleased to have SAA alumnus John Luke Mannix, Class of 2012, as our Alumni Monday speaker during Chapel on March 6, 2023. During his talk, John Luke spoke to our boys about his time at The Academy and expressed his passion for the mission, encouraging them to utilize what is taught in order to better themselves and those around them.

John Luke attended SAA from kindergarten through 8th grade. After graduating from The Academy, he went on to attend high school at Saint Mary's Hall, and college at Texas A&M. He now practices real estate as both a broker and a developer, helping his clients buy and sell land such as farms and ranches.

He went on to remember the different valuable life lessons that he was taught during his time at SAA, which have made a direct impact on his morals and how he chooses to live his day-to-day life.

"I came to know that The Academy is unique in its mission to teach us about character, values, friendship, honesty, and how to be kind," he said.

Thank you, John Luke, for sharing your very inspiring words with us and reminding us how fortunate it is to be an Academy Boy.
