During his visit, Roos reflected on how the lessons he learned at The Academy continue to influence his approach to leadership and his career. He shared that SAA taught him that “it’s cool to be excellent” and to take pride in doing hard things and being the best you can be. He also spoke about the importance of gratitude, encouraging students not only to feel thankful for the people in their lives, but to put that gratitude into action by telling them.

Roos also talked about the lasting friendships he formed at The Academy. He remains close with many of his SAA classmates and has even hired several Academy alumni to join his team. Before concluding, he encouraged students to appreciate the brotherhood and connections they are building at SAA, sharing that those relationships and the values learned at The Academy can continue to make an impact long after graduation.
