On Monday, September 15, 2025, San Antonio Academy welcomed back alumnus Cale Hatter, class of 2022, as the Alumni Monday speaker. During his presentation, he spoke to the boys about the impact of his Academy experience. Now a senior at Alamo Heights High School and former battalion commander of his class, Cale reflected on how The Academy’s core values of responsibility, integrity, leadership, and brotherhood shaped him into the person he is today.
Through stories filled with humor and nostalgia, Cale reminded students of the lasting friendships and memories that define The Academy experience. He shared poignant stories from the 8th-grade trip to Enchanted Rock, Cowboy Breakfast, and playing on the football team. He highlighted how the brotherhood built here extends far beyond graduation, noting that many of his closest friends and teammates from The Academy remain by his side in high school athletics and daily life.
Closing his talk, Cale encouraged the boys to embrace every moment, lean into the school’s values, and cherish the bonds of brotherhood that will stay with them long after their Academy years.

The 2025-2026 school year was one to remember for Academy athletics, as SAA Wildcat teams across multiple sports demonstrated determination, discipline, and championship-level performance. From undefeated seasons to tournament titles and standout individual accomplishments, SAA athletes represented the school with pride throughout the year.

Our 8th-grade students earned outstanding national recognition on the 2026 National Spanish Exam, receiving three Gold Medals, three Bronze Medals, and 11 Honorable Mentions among more than 83,000 students nationwide! We proudly celebrate every student who participated, with special recognition to Mateo N. and Kevin G. for earning the rare distinction of perfect scores on the exam. On Friday, May 22, San Antonio Academy celebrated its 140th Commencement with a morning filled with tradition, reflection, and celebration as families, faculty, alumni, and honored guests gathered to recognize the Class of 2026.

Growth, discovery, and brotherhood defined this year's End-of-Year Culminating Experiences at San Antonio Academy. Our students expanded their education throughout Texas and the Southwest through excursions designed specifically for how boys learn.
