Garrett Notzon, Class of 2009 (Alumni Monday Speaker)

Garrett Notzon, Class of 2009 (Alumni Monday Speaker)

It was a pleasure to welcome alumnus and former battalion commander, Garrett Notzon, class of 2009, as our speaker for Alumni Monday on October 31, 2022. Garrett spoke to our boys about his favorite memories while at SAA, servant leadership, and what being a part of the battalion is all about.

After graduating from The Academy, Garrett attended and graduated from TMI, then went on to attend and graduate from Texas A&M University where he received a bachelor's in business and a master's in land economics and real estate. He is now attending Law School at St. Mary's University and sits on the SAA Alumni Association board.

Garrett talked about what he felt like when he was named Battalion Commander during his 8th-grade year. He encouraged the 7th and 8th-grade boys who would soon be announced and inducted into the battalion, that they, along with everyone else, have an opportunity to take love and honesty and write them on the tablet of their heart.

Thank you for your encouraging and inspiring words, Garrett.
