San Antonio Academy was honored to welcome home nearly 40 alumni representing 66 years of SAA history for Alumni Day on October 17, 2025. The morning began with a warm reception, where attending alumni enjoyed refreshments and shared memories with their fellow Academy brothers and longtime faculty members.
The celebration continued in chapel with students, faculty, and staff gathered for the Alumni Muster, a tradition that honors the lasting connections within the SAA brotherhood. Following chapel, alumni joined our newest cadets on Frost Field, proudly standing behind them as they took the Joining Oath and pledged to uphold The Academy’s core values.
Alumni then served as the reviewing party for the first pass in review of the school year, a moment that bridged generations of Academy men through shared pride and tradition.
The event concluded with a campus tour led by honorary alumnus and former SAA faculty member Drew Kennedy, offering a special glimpse into both the history and growth of the school.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all who returned to campus to reflect on SAA’s legacy, celebrate its vibrant present, and look ahead to its bright future.

San Antonio Academy was delighted to host the grandparents of 3rd–5th grade students for the Elementary Grandparents’ Chapel & Coffee on Friday, January 16. More than 50 proud grandparents filled the front rows of Ellison Hall, sharing in one of The Academy’s most treasured daily traditions, morning chapel.

The 2026 San Antonio Academy Geography Bee brought excitement and brainpower to Ellison Hall in a Jeopardy-style competition that celebrated the global knowledge of The Academy’s 4th–8th graders.

On Monday, January 12, 2026, San Antonio Academy welcomed back alumnus Pierce Kellogg, class of 2014, for the latest installment of Alumni Monday, introduced by seventh graders Liam Cox and interviewed by students Cooper Urban and George Mauzé. Following his time at SAA, Pierce graduated from Alamo Heights High School in 2018 and later from UTSA. He now manages over a million dollars in inventory for Joseph's Men's Store.
