With a spirit of gratitude and a firm sense of tradition, San Antonio Academy’s Class of 2026 was formally inducted into the ranks of alumni during the annual Alumni and 8th Grade Luncheon. The gathering took place on Monday, April 13, at The Argyle, where generations of Academy men assembled for an afternoon marked by fellowship, reflection, and enduring connection.

Alumni/8th grade Luncheon 2026

Alumni representing graduating classes from 1951 to 2025 joined current students, creating a meaningful bridge between past and present. Conversations carried the shared experiences that define an Academy education, reinforcing the lifelong bond of brotherhood that unites each graduate.

During the program, each member of the Class of 2026 received an Academy alumni pin. This meaningful tradition serves as a lasting symbol of their connection to the school and to one another as they prepare to carry The Academy’s values forward.

The luncheon was generously underwritten by Triana and Brandon Grossman ’92 and included a special presentation by the Alumni Association honoring David Robinson Jr. ’07 with the 2026 Young Alumnus Award. This distinction was established in 2022 to recognize graduates aged 35 and younger who reflect The Academy’s commitment to scholarship, leadership, integrity, and brotherhood. His accomplishments and character stand as a strong example for current students as they consider the path ahead. Read more about Mr. Robinson's accomplishments in his full bio.

art show

Each spring, San Antonio Academy celebrates one of its most vibrant traditions: the annual school-wide art show, a joyful showcase of creativity, confidence, and student expression. This year’s exhibition once again transformed the McCombs Gymnasium into a gallery, where artwork from boys across multiple grade levels filled the room with color and imagination. Families, faculty, and friends gathered to admire a wide range of pieces, each reflecting the unique talents and growing artistic skills of our young artists.

A Day at the Museum

San Antonio Academy welcomed families for “A Day at the Museum: Portraits of Leadership,” where 3rd graders presented a living museum that connected local history with personal growth. Through thoughtful presentations, the boys reflected on how influential figures have shaped their understanding of The Academy's four core pillars: Scholarship, Leadership, Integrity, and Brotherhood.

Each gallery highlighted voices that have defined San Antonio and The Academy, while giving our boys the opportunity to speak with confidence and purpose. Events like this reflect SAA’s commitment to developing strong public speakers and young men prepared to lead.
