Posted April 20, 2026

Frost Field was alive with color, competition, and contagious excitement as San Antonio Academy's Elementary and Middle School boys took part in the annual Upper School Field Day. Dressed proudly in their company colors, each team stepped onto the field with energy, determination, and a strong sense of brotherhood that defined the day.

Field Day

The morning unfolded with a full slate of spirited challenges. Relay races kept the pace fast and focused, while tug-of-war tested both strength and unity. At every turn, the boys demonstrated not only athletic ability but also leadership, encouragement, and respect for one another. Friendly rivalry fueled the competition, yet the camaraderie among classmates remained the true highlight.

Each event contributed to the overall company standings, adding an extra layer of anticipation as scores were tracked throughout the day. With every race and every pull of the rope, the boys competed with purpose, knowing their efforts would contribute to the honors announced at Commencement.

Field Day

Field Day remains a cherished tradition at The Academy, offering boys the opportunity to celebrate teamwork, perseverance, and school spirit in a setting filled with joy and lasting memories.

A special thank you to our dedicated coaches and teachers who planned, organized, and led this cherished Academy tradition. Their commitment to our students made the event possible and ensured a meaningful experience for every boy involved.

San Antonio Academy welcomed families for “A Day at the Museum: Portraits of Leadership,” where 3rd graders presented a living museum that connected local history with personal growth.
