After School Care Policies
These are in place for the safety of your family.
- Older Siblings will not be allowed to pick up and sign out boys from ASC. There have been problems in the past where a boy was not properly watched by the older sibling and there were injuries.
- ASC staff cannot sign out a student for a parent or authorized pick up. The parent or authorized pick up must be present to sign student out and take the student.
- Pick ups other than the parent must bring an ID and be on the authorized pick up list. If there is an occasion where someone not on the list is needed to pick up your child, ASC needs a note, email, or phone call to the office from the parent stating the person’s name. Also, please inform the person picking up your child that they will be required to show an ID before being allowed to take the student.
- Once a student is signed out from ASC he may not return during that day to ASC and the student must leave with the parent at that time.
- Reminder of charges:
- Unlimited Use-- Yearly Rate of $1,000.00 per year. (non-refundable; may be paid on a monthly basis)
- 3:00- 3:45 PM-- No Charge – if waiting on upper school dismissal.
- 3:00-5:30 PM-- $20.00 Daily Rate
- 5:30- 6:00 PM-- $20.00 Extended Care (charged regardless of whether you choose the Annual Plan or the Daily Plan)
- 6:00 PM or after-- $40.00 (ASC closes; student will be taken to Mr. Turner and you will need to see him for pick up)
- The no charge rate for waiting on upper school dismissal is only offered until 3:45 PM. Extra after school events like Chess, Sports, or Homework club are not included. If a younger brother is waiting on an older brother to be dismissed from an after school event the daily rate charge will take effect if the younger brother is in ASC after 3:45.
- Younger siblings will not be allowed to play on the playground while the boys are out there. The younger sibling must sit on the bench next to the parent while out there. This policy is new and needed to be put into place because of some injuries.
