Loan Periods

·        Materials are generally loaded for a two-week period unless otherwise directed by Library staff.

·        Videos do not circulate except to teachers and staff.

·        Magazines and reference materials do not circulate except to teachers and staff.

·        A copy machine is located in the library for student use.

Computer and Internet Usage

·        Students may use the library computers and the Internet with the provision that all procedures that govern the use of technology in other areas of the Academy are also followed in the library.

Lost and/or Damaged Materials

·        Patrons who lose materials from the library collection will be charged for the replacement cost of that title, late fees if applicable and a processing fee of $6.00. If the title is later found and returned, only the replacement cost for the title will be refunded.

·        Students will be charged for materials damaged while loaned to them.

Fines

·        The library levies a fine of 25 cents per day for overdue materials. Fines are calculated on school days only, and do not include weekends, vacations, or holidays.
