Wildcat Basketball Season is Underway

The Cats opened the 2018 basketball season in the "Gato Dome" with the 8th grade B team intra-squad scrimmage joining with the Blue team to eek-out a 24-23 victory. The Blue team was led by Nate "ketchup" and Mayo with 8 points, Azar, Hunter, and Zafar each had 4.  The White team was led by Carter Herrera with 7 points, and Jatin "Gatlinburg" Gurrala chipped in 6. For season game schedules, scores and recaps, visit the Athletics page here.

Alumni vs. 8th Grade Basketball Game

There was a festive atmosphere in the "Gato Dome" for this fun annual game. The Alumni brought out the young guns to set the tone. Matt Silva '02 opened up a close game with 3 early daggers from deep to open up and set the table for a smorgasbord of points. The young Cats took several blows early, yet stayed within 15 at the half. The Alumni's experience and extraordinary skill took over and outlasted the Cats 61-48. The young Cats were led by the Bregman twins, positive contributions from Ramirez, and Wright.
